Run by the Outwater family, the Belmar Spring Water Company has been quenching thirsts in North Jersey for over 70 years. The secret to the family's success has been restricting their business to North Jersey (the company is based in Glen Rock). A water-main break in Bergen County in 1996 proved that the company is definitely a family affair. President Wes Outwater and his brother-in-law, sales manager Eric Gettle, joined other employees in lugging five-gallon water jugs to customers. The company also donates to groups such as The Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity.
