Simply place the bottle on the cooler and a special valve opens to let only fresh bottles water enter the reservoir. Remove the bottle - even when it is full - and the WaterSafe cap automatically reseals itself.

An air-tight seal works with a check valve and air filter to prevent airborne contaminants from entering the bottle and reservoir, and reduce reservoir overflow due to hairline cracks or pinholes in the water bottle.
